Enthusiasm is highly contagious – a leader’s team members will absorb his enthusiasm through his body language, tone of voice, and the topics he chooses to discuss.

Accountability

Accountability means that you accept responsibility for your actions, both good and bad. You don’t blame other people, and you don’t blame things that were out of your control. An essential quality of a great leader is their authenticity – their ability to remain true to themselves, their beliefs, and their values. A great leader doesn’t only have to effectively communicate their values and beliefs, but also those of the organization. In fact, leaders don’t just have to remain true to themselves, but they must also transfer their values and beliefs to his or her team.

Willingness to Learn and Expand

If you aren’t learning, growing, expanding, you certainly can’t expect the people around you to be learning, growing, and expanding. One of the things that seem to set all the good leaders apart is their absolute commitment to plugging into their potential and discovering ways to be the best possible version of themselves. A Sense Of Purpose

Whereas vision is defined as a clear idea of where you’re going, a sense of purpose refers to an understanding of why you’re even going there. People like to feel that they’re part of something bigger than themselves. Great leaders give people that feeling.

Becoming a good leader doesn’t mean that you have to incorporate all of the aforementioned traits at once.
